Next Generation tC
A couple more that I thought of:
If we are talking about performance package... offer pedals that align better for heal toe shifting :D Long shot I know.. but hey, we are brainstorming here.
Analog oil pressure gauge. Oil pressure dummy lights are worthless. They pretty much tell you "Hey! Youre screwed!"

Hey rid of the stupid bubble grille theme common in all the 08's. Who ever came up with that needs to be fired and banned from ever touching another Toyota product again!

I'm gonna have to go with more supportive seats. ANyone who auto X's their tC knows the feeling.
More power is a definite. Not everyone is a tuner, but where the tC competetors are packing 40-60 more hp for only a few grand more, the tC definitly needs more power. Either in N/A form or a better supercharger/turbo option.
Form, the tC has nice lines as is. Maybe a slightly lower profile,
As i love my tC. the Gear box is a bit clunky. Shifting is not as smooth as say a civic si, or any other sporty coupe's out there.

oh yeah also
- higher quality paint for better damage resistance
- no gimmicky exterior or interior cues. simplicity is beautiful. don't go mazda-headlight/tail-light and bubbly drilled grille and call it an improvement. i know this is all in opinion and taste but i really dont think it was a step up.

OR a 5 speed tranny for Auto Guys....like ME!!
6 speed for manual/5 speed for auto
Odometer features like the xB2 has... MPG, etc... Also I think the temp. gauge should be standard on the ODO or rear view mirror even. Not having to press a button. Compass would also be cool and very helpful.
Bluetooth would be nice
Different, more unique paint colors... period... not like AP changing to WLP, etc. That's kinda ___.
A complete interior design. It just seems so... what's the word... CHEAP, and it rattles like no other.
The texture of the dash looks like petrified wood, I'd change that.
Better designed stock antenna.
Better aftermarket accessories offered by Scion and pricing. No body wants to customize anymore from the dealer.
More power overall. Although right now it is pretty decent when you compare the price.
Release Series.... come on. let's get some cool colors and not just some recycled toyota colors. it's getting annoying...
Absolutely red... Yaris anyone?
Blitz blue mica - the only cool original color
Blizzard Pearl - Avalon
Galactic Grey - Toyota SUVs
LAME! why don't they rebadge it and call them the toyota scion special editions.

I know this prolly won't matter to most and I can't have both. I have three. My wife drives a tC (automatic). I can't relate how "close" the pedals are. BUT, I can realte to how FAR apart the pedals are on my xD and it makes it hard for those the rev match and heel/toe. I like the tC design. I am disappointed with engine power. Big motor for the Senior citizens Camry doesn't cut it in a "sports" car form Scion. remember this car kinda replaced the Celica. About those wanting more supportive seats? if they were any more supportive, those that are weightly may not fit comfortably. Try sitting in the new STi crapass seats. Garbage! Best seats I ever had in a car were my 96 MX-6. I weigh in @ 160 and they fit me tight!! My knees fall aleep in the xD tho. I gotta fix that. about the "****" on the door. yeah, that is a little weird and I can't count the number of people that asked if it was a speaker. Rear drive would be nice, but AWD would be better. Toyota has the technology to offer it. SO let's get it! Ever heard of the Celica Alltrac? How about the Caldina? Hell, those cars were even turbo. Better look around ,Hyundai has that Genesis coupe that is rear drive and V-8 possibly. I'd get that for the potential over a tC.
hmm all of the obvious....lower hwy cruising rpms(6spd/new 5th), more power only because power seems lower than other NA 2.4L out there (i know toyota will want to keep a common engine in it), lower stance/profile, LED tails, smoother MT, someone mentioned rear power windows..seemed pointless(on a 2dr) at first but it would really be unique and add that scion ideal...
