Next Generation tC
Not necessarily more HP but LESS WEIGHT..at 3000 lbs its kinda hard to be pushing 140 to the wheels.
find a way to trim maybe 300 lbs and we would notice a nicer ride.
The suspension needs to have a lower center of gravity

Well, my original post still stands, as it is not performance related; get rid of the stupid bubble grill. I'll also add a second note.
I don't mind the throws of the OEM 5 spd, but does it really have to look like an erect male appendage? Note that this is common on many Toyota's and scion's, where the shift gate is too low, resulting in a very long shift column. It just looks horrible. IMO short shifters are worthless, but i'm really tempted to get one, because the OEM shifter is just so ugly.
Take note from shift ****/gate height on BMW's for good design.

And your poll is completely rediculous. Both form and function are equally important! The German's seem to understand this very well, ie BMW and VW. But unfortunately for them, they don't understand the meaning of reliability.
Why is it so hard for automotive companies to integrate form, function, AND reliability?

I'd like to see a V6 option. That's Something they should have done the first time around, pair it with a 6 speed manual or 5 auto. (like the 05 V6 Camrys)

I'd enjoy different a different color for the interior lights, amber is way too boring.
This is a longshot, but maybe offering a rear sunroof that opens as well?
I agree that more supportive seats would be a great improvement, and that the interior choice with the wavy ridges in the dashboard is not the greatest and could be changed to something else.
Keeping the center console design with the radio cover would be cool but modifying it to look different would be a must.
Definitely creating some more unique RS versions of the tC, the 3.0 and 4.0 in my opinion are lame

pretty much everything has been covered but...
6 spd tranny (and no tiptronic crap)
RWD or AWD
longer gear ratios
a better displaced inline 4
stock turbo setup to pass CARB regulations
more colors...give like a gold or even the burnt penny color, or si blue...something

I don't personally feel the poll is rediculous. In certain cases function necessitates form. Like F1 cars (gorgeous) and the Lotus Exige, the FD RX7's and 1992 GTR's. When I say function I mean you would rather have a shifter that is properly weighted with a firm, direct throw made of rubber; instead of when I say form, which would be a shifter that glows different colors and carbon fiber.
Actually, I've been hearing solid bushings replacing the rubber ones have shown to function better (via Doc I's bushings)
Definitely Function over Form by 60/40 or 70/30 (IMO) ~ Doing it right is a MUST, but since it's being accomplished you might as well do it with some style.
