I don't want glass on my face in an accident as to why I wanted the side airbags.

You're pulling things out of your **** if you're thinking you can get Alcantara seats, paintjob and side airbags for $2,000 (the price difference between the RS2 and a regular tC).

As for why I didn't buy a Spec, it's a waste of money. It basically removed what the tC is well known for. I maybe low on money, but I'm not broke.

Isn't this your quote from earlier in the thread?

There's a big difference between a seat cover and the actual fabric that is NOT a cover.

I'm sure you can buy a Type-R Pep Boys special for $20 but it'll cost you real money to have someone actually rip out the factory fabric and custom fit it with Alcantara. I've looke around and the average going rate is $400 -$600 PER SEAT.

It's cheaper to manufature the seats from the factory than it is to go to a shop.

wow, didn't this post get really off topic...

anyway, if they did do a retro i would hope they not only focused on the looks aspect but also made it a very well balanced car like the old ones were.

option... but port installed.... you'd have to order it from the factory.

"plus labor installation" is uhh.. politically incorrent. i'd say anyway.

this whole thread has gone nowhere but into complete and utter nonsense.
