3. OK and I just found out that Scions fuel filter is in gas tank so I'll scratch that one.

The CEL is something you need to have checked out.. basically unless you are boosted theres no legitimate reason for the light to be on. CAI, exhausts, header, etc should not be triggering the check engine light.

So take it to autozone or wherever will check the code for free and see what the problem is and go from there.

Only other thing that might interest you is that the factory keyless entry (if you DONT have scion security) can be "hacked" so that the horn beeps when you arm it.

I've already looked hard into how to get the windows to roll down when you unlock the car and roll up when you lock it but theres too much work involved, but it IS very possible.

GL with the tc, welcome to scionlife

CEL - so there is no tool/software combo in the Scion world to check this information on your own? I'm thinking it is a maintenance interval warning.

^ Nope, there's a different light for the maintenance interval warning.

Here's a link to a "Scion tC FAQ";
http://www.thesciontc.com/faq.html
While it doesn't answer all your questions, it's a decent general reference.

You can get a scan gauge to check the codes if you have the money or any code scanner that plugs into the OBD2 port.

I agree Wendy's should have stayed there. Usually nothing wrong with another mex food place since most of them are pretty good, but that Santana's is a craptastic rip-off.

^^ If you tried the mexican food in the bay area you would praise Santanas.
