what can cause the leaking?
- i didnt racing.. one or twice i hit a bump with 30 mph.. (car is lowered)
i use to slow down before the bumps, but i didnt see one or two in the night.

its very bad???

its under warranty??? they gonna fix it or i have to pay a lot?

dont forget i have racing headers.. but i bought the car from the toyota dealer like this!!!! and they give me extended warranty

 

sounds like leaking from somewhere after the exhaust exits the head, either that or it's a mechanical ticking, kinda hard to tell from the video

 

Exhaust leak isn't the end of the world, nothing threatening at least, it is just a pita.

 

Yeah, could be an exhaust leak. I see you have headers. They will occasionally do that.

maybe because i went thru on that bump really fast? i mean.. fast for me.. it was like... 20mph..

 

The only thing that really stood out was the ticking. probally the fuel injectors

Does the "ticking" get faster as you accelerate? It could be a rod knock. If the ticking or knocking sound gets faster as you accelerate then it might be that. If you bought the car EXACTLY like that from toyota take it back and ask them b/c yes it's under warranty.

I posted a thread on warranty info. You can only void the warranty if the problem your having with the car is DIRECTLY resulted from the part you had installed by someone other than toyota. If it just started to act up take it to toyota.

Jack up the car and check under the car for a crack in the exhaust. DOn't do it after driving tho. You'll burn yourself...

It could also be a head gasket??? Just throwing out ideas...

 

im not sure about the first thing what you mentioned. (ticking sound get faster)

im gonna take to the toyota today.

(btw from the cockpit i cant even hear that sound)

 

that sounds distinctively like valve chatter to me. how's your oil level? when was it last changed?

 

ok.. i back from the toyota service... guess what they said!!!!!!!
they said its NOTHING!!!!!! not loeaking... not the fuel stuff.. they said its the sound of the exhaust.. and they said something about the backpressure.... anyway..they said its fine.

 

man, i think i need some new speakers that was a great idea making a vid for that tho!
