i'm wondering if the '06 w/ the wheel controls will be able to control the Eclipse HU's as they are the same in camry's (or something like that i read on here).. what do you guys think?

 

Who said the '06 was going to have wheel controls? Is this confirmed? Man... I'd really love that... I wonder what a retrofit would take...

 

most of the '06 threads have stated that along w/ a change of 2 of the colors... and a facelift to the audio HU

 

Man... I knew about the color changes, and I knew that they were adding Sirius support to the HU, so it goes to figure that there would be some other updates there, but I hadn't heard about changer controls. I guess my stereo system will probably still be stock-esque when the '06s roll around, so I'll take a look, but I wonder how well the changes will be implemented - lots of systems with steering wheel controls only work with the factory deck and that's your only choice - I don't think I'd upgrade if all I could use was the factory deck.

 

yea, im at a standstill if i should wait for the '06's or get a '05 now... i need a new car really soon... i'll prolly either put in my pioneer HU i currently use in my new tC or get one of those kenwood/ecplise HU's... not sure =/...

im wondering how many 'fixes' there will be in the '06 from the 05.. i wonder if these are implemented in the late '05 models...
