Rattle Rattle..Everywhere a little rattle rattle
So my 05' tC has hit its 13,000mile mark. I have finally started to hear the rattle that ive heard so many people speak of.
I am hearing the rattle or noise whatever it may be in my roof. Like towards the front, I dont really hear it when the moonroof is open though..
What have you guys done to fix this? Is this a well known problem with scion to get fixed?
i also hear a rattle sometimes in the rear, sometimes I think its that little trunk cover thing that locks in plcae..
if you could let me know i would be SOOO greatful
thanks

I have dark window tint on mine and took the rear cargo cover panel (correct term?) out . I noticed without the cover back there , the cargo area got alittle quieter . I still deal with rattles from the sunroof and far back hatch(inside the hatch panels) . Mines presently in service with a SPECIALIST lol .I dunno if they corrected the issues or not .

For the back rattle, you might try wrapping electrical tape on the metal bar that the hatch latch latches onto. Wrap enough to where the hatch is "tight" on closing. If you do not put on enough, the rattle remains.
For a rattle coming from the center, you might take out the dome light and as riding pull down on the metal strip inside the dome light housing. My rattle went away when holding down so I jammed a block of wood in the metal crevice.
Good luck.
