anyone experience rattling around the glove compartment area. i know its not anything inside becuase ive driven with it completely empty and it seems the glove compartment door isnt attached tight enough. does anyone know if dealers have a fix for this, or a general dashboard area fix that they perform? Thanks

 

i believe they have some sort of rattle prevention mat that they'll install in certain areas of your car under warranty.....

take this with a grain of salt though because I've never had it done nor do I know anyone who's had it done....it seems like I've read that on SL somewhere though

 

i had the same problem.. the dealer has what they call "noise kits" it consists of different foam tapes, different densities and thicknesses.. technician gave me some and I applied it around the edges of the glove box.. no more rattles.. so that should help yours as well..
