CEL stayed off when I restarted. I have to drive hour and back for the next few days to IL (taking care of family members cats while they are way.) Hasn't been on ever since so I knew it wouldn't give out a code.

Seems like once its been run for 10-15 minutes its acts normal. No shaking.

Wouldn't it kill the battery? I'm still driving on the stockie. I've been able to start it without a problem. (Knocking on wood about this) lol

This is the first time it stalled; but not the rough idling (always thought it was linked to having AP exhaust on OEM midpipe & Strup header.)

Ight here's another small question. My bday is in 3 weeks so ima have some extra cash. Right now I'm on Stechs but I want coils. Last years snow was really bad on my car so I wanted to raise it a bit. Should I just grab some RLs just for the winter or just save my $300?

Yea the RL would only be temporary (basically for the winter) until I had the cash for better ones next year. I've bin thinking of it all day and ill jus battle the winter and save dat $$ for some B&Gs.

^^ Thanks

I know after installing springs I have to get an alignment. What about after installing new struts?

I'm planning on getting some Tokico struts to go along my 5 month old Progress springs. I got an alignment done one month after installing the springs.

I have some 07 taillights and have yet to install them, if you have the small harness for the bulbs that go for the 07 use them and plug it to the lights and connect to the harness at the rear. I've read using the 08'+ harness will have an issue with plugging into the reverse light because of it's location and requires a longer wire. If you take a look at the wiring when you take the cover off in the interior you'll get what I'm talking of about switching the small harness for the taillights.

Then there's this conflicting report lmao...http://clubsciontc.com/forums/exteri...ht-swap-27383/

I never played with the tails so i don't know where to start. Im going to meet up with the guy a few days from now or tomorrow. He is selling the tails to me with the harness for cheap. I just want to make sure the harness is good. Do you perhaps have a thread you know of that might help me imagine the wiring?

if you have the 05-07 harness's on the tails its all plug and play. Just one plug on each one and your done.

^Yezzir, I just gave a long winded explanation.

Look at figure 3e on page 2. The taillight connector that plugs into the bulbs in the back of the light that connects to the harness, that's what I'm talking about.

I haven't looked at the tails yet and I doubt the harness is already hooked up to the lights. They use the same bulbs right?

And yes, the bulbs are the same, just checked on Sylvania's site.

Yea, they should be the same bulbs. But like it was said, the harnesses are diff lengths, so youll need the same year harness as the lights to keep it plug and play.

Its really a subharness. Theres one main plug that goes to the chassis harness, on the other side are the 3 bulbs.

So this is a dumb question I'm sure to most of you, but I wasn't aware there is a first and second generation tC. What exactly is the difference? Is it their lights?

The second Gen tC is what has just hit showroom floors, 2011 model year. Different car for sure, don't know how much carried over but do know the reclining rear seats have. With the first Gen it had a little freshening up up the exterior for the 08 and 09, which was a redesigned grill, headlights, and taillights. Mechanically, pretty much the same, the engine for the 07 and up had minor changes to the internal(don't know exactly all of the changes) and has a different MAF sensor from the 05-06.
