Haha yeah we're not yanking your chain dude. Yellow is right the pads do have sensors on them for the light to come on upon replacement. However I had my pads down to the metal and the light never came on. Honestly check your brake fluid

you wont be running your car hard enough to need slots, modern brakes cool just fine enough, when your drilled or slotted you reduce the contact surface of the system

PS dont get Hawk on factory rotors unless you hate your rotors

I have a 2010 TC, took it in to the dealership for the first oil change this past week. The car is spec'd for either 0W20 or 5W20 oil. The dealer used 5W30. Its cold where I live and ive been experiencing hard starts in the morning. I would assume not using the spec'd oil would void my warrenty??? Not to mention the hard starts are definatly not good for the engine. Anyone else have a problem with a dealer not using the spec'd oil?

They should have absolutely not put in a 5w30. Are you positive they did? Take it back and demand that it gets changed to spec. Also keep record of them puttin in 5w30 for the future just incase. Use 5w20 in the winter.

It takes my car a little longer to start in the winter too. The 5W30 should have nothing to do with that. Its the same viscosity cold as whats recommended. Also, how do you know the dealer used 5W30 and what makes you say the hard starts are bad for the engine? Whats your definition of a hard start?
