The only thing that scares me is that I have dynamat on my rear fenders. I'm worried that if I get a ding there that the PDR guy wont be able to take it out because of it covering the metal.

 

I took my tc to the car wash
and they waxed my baby and it was looking nice.

As I went into my passenger door , its a nasty lil ding


I cussed those people out so dang bad, they almost called the police.

there are times when i wish my doors were similar to saturns, the plastic doors, that just pop back up if a door hits it.

but then a friend reminded me, metal bends/dents/, but plastic shatters.

 

The more you care about your car, the more it gets dinged up...Or maybe it's just that you only notice it when you care...I stopped obsessing at about 4k miles...after I cut a corner and knicked up my rear left tire on a sewer drain . Since then I only notice things after i've looked at them atleast 40 times.

 

I just got my first ding today. It's on the passenger side door right on the body line. After I got home, my bro pointed at something on my door and asked "what happened here?" I looked and there was a ding. It's noticeable in every angle too. For sure that ding came from my school parking lot... grr.

 

Ya, got my first two weeks ago 3750 miles 4 months, I was really mad, I parked at work like 3 miles from any other car, and when I left work there were cars surrounding mine and the next day I found the small ding behind my passenger door...

I had a big one. that was almost like 2. golf ball sized. i know it was a door because there was white paint left on it. the PDR got about 95% of it out. he said there is a beam there and couldnt get it perfect. still mad but what are you gonna do?

 

there is nothing that I hate more than door dings, people are just plain a-holes. If anything I'd appreciate atleast and im sorry, cause i know i can't afford to take someone to court over a door ding. More than anything they just annoy the ____ out of me. I've got 2 already.

 

I got my first ding from a shopping cart in a Target Parking lot, but the REAL KICKER was a week after that someone keyed a star into my hood. I was parked in a movie theatre parking lot, far away from everyone else, not bothering a soul. Sure enough, huge star carved in there!

 

The PDR guy I took mine to couldn't get to the ding behind the paneling either. He used a very small suction cup tool that he heated on to the car, then turned a small ****. He did it a few times but it took the ding out 100%. I looked from every single angle and it was gone (and I'm ****). You may want to see if anyone can do this around you.

 

...sigh....

dings and dents...are... ugh i cant even describe how bad i hate them

im sorry, i am still to get my first!

but it will get removed ASAP when it does!
