Default So I'm going to be ordering a tC pretty soon...

I'm pretty excited, though the wait to get one is gonna kill me , I'm gonna get a 5MT, Black Sand Pearl, and the Ground Effects Kit, (floor mats maybe?).

I'm not going to do much performance wise, I'm just gonna get the windows tinted, smoke overlays for all my lights, a stereo system, and possibly lowering springs and maybe some wheels...

any tips or suggestions for when I go to the dealership?

Don't wear white socks with loafers...but seriously...not much to worry about...Scion's "pure pricing" makes it pretty easy to buy a tC.

A couple of things you may want to do.

- Know your credit score when you go to the dealer. Higher scores mean better finance rates.

- Search around for financing before you go to the dealer - you may be able to find a better deal, especially if you are a credit union member.

- Only buy what you can afford. Aftermarket parts are expensive through Scion - cheaper at some online places, but may effect warranty if not orderd/installed through the dealer.

- Get a really long book to read while you wait for your car to be delivered...War and Peace, The Odysee, The Iliad, etc.

God luck.

The $145 floor mats are crappy, mine shed like a cat. (((fur ***** everywhere)) There was a bald spot where my heels rest. Even my mom's WalMart mats don't do that.

You know the floor mat option...does it come with back seat carpets? And a trunk carpet?

Yes, it comes with back seat carpets and i think the trunk carpet is stock to cover the spare tire. Mine had them.

The floor mats come as a set of four (2 front + 2 back) the 2 fronts are a 2-piece deal, which by the way have not shed or become bald as of yet in my tC(3k miles on them).

The cargo mat comes seperately and is pretty nice. There is some stock carpeting integrated into the trunk lid thingy - but the mat is much nicer (and may help to cut down on some road noise?)

Maybe they come all as one set from the factory (through the dealer). I got mine from www.McGeorgeparts.com and they were seperate...either way it's still cheeper online w/ shipping $116 shipped -vs- $145 from dealer.
