Is there some kind of advantage to having an S2000 antenna?

I mean aside from looks for being smaller, whats the point?

nothing a little WD-40 can't fix =)

I had mine on with locktite, but when I had my car shipped over here they required me to remove it. I soaked it with a bunch of WD-40 and let it sit for 10 minutes and with minimal force I was able to remove the antenna.

I can just see it, the antenna stealing tard grips your antenna to remove it, only to get this greasy stuff all over his hands.........next thing, he's kicikng your door in and running away. You still have your S2K on the car, but mybe a nice big dent or a long key scratch on your TC.
I just remove my S2K antenna and put it in my pocket everytime I park it in "questionable" areas. So far, so good.
