rolling up to a nissan dealership to stare a a r34 they have in there show room and having the nissan people staring at my tC is funny. I asked the guy who owns the r34 if we could trade and he said sure do you have 35k to add to mine. i just laughed.

I went to a honda dealer today to also pick up a s2k antenna. So I was at the parts department, and waiting for the guy to get me the antenna, and this other, 19ish year old guy comes up, and he is also getting an antenna. He preordered his and got an s2k, But I was stuck with a Element one (although I stil bought it and it looks nice), we both went to pay, and he was like... his that your scion there? I'm like yup, just picked it up this morning. I go on asking so... what kinda car do you drive? ( I expect him to say an s2k) but he said.. same as you, a Scion tC! he parked next to me and I talked with him for a bit. I was cool!

btw traded my manual for an auto, I'm actually enjoying it more this time

 

i went to a scion dealer one time so my friend could test drive the tc. sales guy comes up to me and tells me, "so you wanna trade her in for a scion?" haha....absolutely made my day.

 

 

Yeah, I had a 98 Civic LX until that fateful SMART day last July 17th when I fell for, and bought, my silver tC. While I don't hate Hondas overall, I did hate my Civic since its low-end torque was/is pathetic. My son has it now for his wheels at Virginia Tech.
Plus, the attitude at Honda dealers is pretty bad at times, too. I thought my Civic was loud when I bought it, so I asked several if that was its normal sound. 4 of 5 dealers said "What do you expect from a low-end car?" almost exactly! Wow... That really ticked me off and turned me off to Hondas. It turns out my Civic had a cracked manifold, which caused the extra noise. They lost out on a $250 repair, those idiots. LOL

 

so it's ok for a scion guy to think their car is superior than another and not me? get real.

 

This is a Scion forum. I wouldnt post my "scion is awesome" thread in an Acura forum.

I would expect trolls to post as you did though.

 

haha....get your facts straight first kid. for one, i never said my car was superior than any other. this thread was about a guy who went into another dealership and posted what happened. i just simply did the same. what's the harm in that. second, i'm not a troll.

Everyone is entitled to feel their car is superior, even on another makes forums... He could have held his tongue but he didn't outright bash Scions either...

 

Same thing happened to me when we took delivery of the wife's xterra the peeps (salesmen and customers were checking out my xb , i thought it was fun.

 

I did that same exact thing. Parked right in front of them, walked up, "Can I help you?" "nope" bought the antenna, walked out and changed it right in front of them while they still staring at me.

Good times.

 

Cool... I should go to a Honda dealership. Anyone bought an antenna from the Stubby Antenna ad that gets flashed on this forum often?

can anyone help me by telling me how to get the antenna off? and i cant belive an s2000 antenna is only 20 buck out of honda? i figured itd be close to a hundred!
