Default Speeding...good/bad theory...

i was reading about the windnoise "speeding" thread...and had to explain to you what my friend said:
"Normally regular traffic is 70 - 75 mph to be on the safe side. Motorcycle cops usually go a bit faster like about 80 mph to (catch) the speeders. So all I have to do is go 95MHP or faster to avoid any cops behind me to catch me. Basically you are running from the cops w/o them knowing about it."
once my friend told me his theory of "avoiding" a speeding ticket..i just went crazy...just like his driving..haha

lol... that's a funny but good theory.... but doesn't work very well against stationary/hidden cops, or aircraft for that matter. I've had two friends that were ticketed by aircraft

No offense, but that is the most retarded thing I have EVER heard.

And what does this have to do with the TC, other than it is very loosely related to another thread.

I am sure that if you fly by a cop doing 95, he will do over 100 to get ya.

So.... does the aircraft land in order to pull you over? It would seem rather easy for the speeder to just gun it as they came in for a landing... I'd imagine that aircraft can't taxi at a high enough speed to chase you...

Or do they use helicopters and just land on your roof? It'd suck to be speeding in a convertible...

The speed timing is done by air, then a cop on the ground pulls you over. Its called VASCAR, and is basically a stop watch. The tickets are easier to fight.

Also, people remember you can't outrun a radio.

i got busted goin 95 or 100 and i actually thought i could outrun 'em cause it was night so i switched lanes like that would help, damn they have good night vision  (it only lasted a few seconds until i realize i could get in more trouble if i didnt stop). i got 7 points on my license and had to go court and still got a 3 year surcharge. but i did learn my lesson. dont go over 70 unless there is a red sports car with one tail light goin faster than you are

Get a radar/laser detector....esp in Florida

Or even better, go to www.rockymountainradar.com and get a radar/laser detector/jammer and call it a day.

Laser jammers are not illegal, but radar jammers are. If you are caught you will get nailed to the wall. You will face BIG FCC fines as well as anything the cop gives out.
