SRT4?
Hey Fellas , Well i own 08 SW Tc. I got the car in september and now its december and i allready have 9500 miles due to work, but as a thought i was wondering if i should trade in my car for the new SRT4 Caliber? Factory Turbo 300hp 6 Speed , 19" polished Rims , and the funny part its cheaper in insurance
witch shocked me at first. But i love my Tc and i went to a couple of dealers and worked my magic and i can get 18,500 for my car and i owe 20,000 my payments would be around 440 ish like 10.00$ more then i paying now, i think its a good buy , but then again i love my Tc but i can get a brand new car again and cheaper on insurance and a whole lot faster.. Idunno guys any imput on this thanks fellas.
personally i don't like dodge. anyone who i know that had a car affiliated with dodge had a problem with it. i had a 1997 mistubishi eclipse gs with a chrysler 420A motor. i had so many problems with it. it was awful. just awful. and ive heard a lot ppl had problems with the neon. so do what you think is right. this is just my personal opinion.
okay scion tc is an import
dodge srt-4 is an import wanna-be
idc if its fast or not
just know if u drive the srt-4 it may be nice but its american "tuner" which doesn't fit right
so yeah
i say stick with the tC

I'm not too surprised the tC is higher on insurance.......... just look at all those threads with "totaled the new car" or "hydrolocked" or "flipped the car", etc.
If you dont have a problem w/ domestic cars, I would say go for it! As you said, A LOT faster, cheaper on insurance, better utility.... gas mileage not as good probably on the Dodge (since you do drive a lot)
Oh Dear G*D! Have mercy on this poor soul

i saw one the other day and let me tell you, it didnt catch my eye at all. it looked like a regular caliber with new wheels and a "body kit" to me. and also the Caliber's design is a little to blah for me. so i voted tC.
yeah trust me i can understand cuz i want to part out with my tc to go better bigger and faster but in the end i dont part out with the tc..its a nice car and has a lot of potential and looks sleek
The fact remains its STILL a DODGE. I used to own a Neon SRT-4 and traded it for my tC that i have now. In the two years that i had it i had numerous problems. To me its not worth it. It may be fast but you'll wish u had you tC back when you start but that just my .02

everyone ive known that has had an srt-4 it was in a garage almost once every month with something going wrong, and after 20,000 miles, i herd they arnt worth a **** and break allot.
the interrior makes me puke, the shifter is one of the ugliest things ive ever seen, the tc over all is a better car with extreme potential.

don't take a turn fast in the Caliber!!! My buddy had a rental regular caliber and it wasn't really that great when I sat in it. then he punched it around a corner and it felt like it was about to tip.
Make sure you really like it, before you trade a car in that really holds its value.
