you're only 20 and a guy so i wouldn't recommend a stang, cause insurance will rape you. i'd recommend to get a second car as a daily, like an older civic, beamer or toyota. somewhere in the under 5k range for these reasons:
1. IT'S A DODGE (the only nice cars that they make are the viper and the evo--mistu but still you know). idk about they evo, but the viper will probably have you in the shop like clockwork too.
2. you still owe on your car, and you owe more than what the dealer will give you. it's a lose-lose for you. the dealer will tack on what they don't make from selling the car, cause a used tC with high miles probably won't sell for 18,500. whoever buys that should be shot, not killed just shot.
3. IT'S A CALIBER. girls don't dig calibers. there's nothing sexy about it. okay so it has a turbo, how many chics can recognize a car with a turbo just by hearing or listening to it?? not many i guarantee it (some chics from this site please don't answer as we have a good amount of car savvy chics). i don't care if you put rocket jets on it, IT'S NOT SEXY!!!!!!!!
it sounds like you work hard for your car, so you should get what you like. therefore in the end if you like the cabiler go for it. if you really want to get another car i'd go with something in the bigger engine range, i.e. V6.
also what happens when you put 10k in 4 months on your new car (if you get one), or you going to trade that in too. it doesnt look like a good economical decision in my book. also, the caliber would have to take a higher octane of gas too correct??

As of now The mustang would be 50$ Cheaper then my Tc i called and asked this before anything...as my car goes i bought my car for 23k i added the TRD Rims witch was 2K alone and the TRD springs, the car has 9,300 miles for the upgrades i have i would buy the car for 18,500 out the door.. but anywayz i do love me car, and in the market for caliber if not then mustang i dunno this all just came to me like 3 days ago im prolly gonna keep the Tc if not then im going for the mustang and ill have a second car aswell (my father's GTP grand prix S/C) and ill have a job closer so i dunno gotta to some research and go shopping to dealer to dealer thanks guys for the imput looks like no Caliber for me.
okay scion is built and assembled in japan, they are no factories here in the states that built scions. Scion is as JDM as you can get with out it actually being sold in Japan more so than some other imports.
oh btw...it kinda doesnt make sense to build whole cars from japan and ship them here..
idk..its just a business perspective..its A LOT cheaper to build the parts and have it assembled in America rather than having whole cars built in japan and shipped here...am i right? or am i right?

If you trade for the SRT, I think you are losing money if you are thinking of trading a new car in 2 or 3 years. Tc will keep its value even 3 or 4 years later, but the SRT... prob 1/4 of its value??..may be less....
BUT IF YOU ARE KEEPING IT FOR more than 7 years(impossible for american car)....go for it

yeah but the tC is made in america....
WTF.... Um tC is built in japan. If you read the plate on the inside of the drivers door. Plus that little sticker that was on the car when u bought it tells you what port it came out of when it was built......DUH. If it was built in the US it would have said Parts : 100% JAPAN
Assembly: !00% USA.
But it doesnt, its all Japanese. 100% Japanese!!!!
