Wait, you haven't even owned the car for a thousand miles and you've already disconnected the exhaust? All that does is make it sound like one huge exhaust leak. How can you stand the noise in the cabin that must make?

I'd get a gasket and re-seal that thing before you even got close to the dealership.

Lol, I ran my tC without an axle-back for the longest time. The only draw-back to it is the noticeable loss in low end torque, the decrease in mpg, and the small of exhaust fumes under prolonged hard acceleration. But it does sound nice... lol :D

I have no answer for your question. I only have a question for your question (followed by a “WTF??” question/statement.

Why did you remove part of your exhaust system?

Wow, what a technical explanation that justifies the removal of a component/system that is built into every single consumer vehicle... if only engineers were educated enough to realize the “potential gains”….

If by chance that you happen to know what you are actually doing, then why are you bothering to bring in your brand new car for a 1,000 mile check-up??? .

Seriously (guys and gals), is “Snarcher” and “Trivecta” something that the rest of us “normal” people just don’t know about??

If you are serious...Push the clutch in ALL THE WAY!!! Not all the way that you think you are pushing it, but ALL THE WAY DOWN!
