Starting problem
The problem is only happening when the vehicle is cold. Morning, mostly after sitting all night. I turn the ignition and the car starts to chug like normal. When it is about to turn over it fumbles a lot whcih means I have to stay on the ignition longer. Fuel pump maybe? Thoughts before I take it to the stealership
The car has 38K on it already just FYI.

how new is your car? it happens to pretty much all tC's within the first few months of ownership. Its also possible that you have some bad gas, or a worn down battery already.

been posted alot here lately
i HAD the same issue, but just went ahead and performed fuel induction service
haven't had a problem since, been about a week
another owner on here switched from 93 to 87 octane and his problem has been gone since
check the charge on your battery, then take it to the "stealership" as you call it
see if they can find something you can't

never happened since then and i have 14k
happened to me first thing in the morning yesterday. I have about 33K miles on my car, I just figured it had something to do with the chilly morning and the damp weather from rain sunday night.
This has happened to me as well. I remember one time i started it and i swear it sounded like there was rocks in there or something. It was just this big CLUNK! i was like WTF then i turned it off and tried it again...started fine, this was about 2 months ago...hasnt happened since.
every so often recently i've been having the coughing/fumbling during start up. Sounds like its not gonna turn over and just stall out for like one quick second, then starts up and runs normal. hasn't been on COld days (50-70 degrees)
I haven't been on in a while but what is this fuel induction service? And what is the cost? This has been happening to me just about every morning. A normal day here is like 65-70. At night it dips to the 50's. I wouldn't say this is due to cold starts. The car is an 05' with 38K on it already to the guy that asked. I still don't know what the problem is?

I'm taking mine in next week. It is either the battery or some fuel problem. I just filled a new tank today so I'll give it a week. After the first morning start, it starts fine the rest of the day.
so yeah, it just happens every time i start up after the car's been sitting for an extended period (over nite). Just a real labored ignition feel. Like its about to start, then kindof stalls for a millisecond, then starts up kinda sluggishly.
