Ok, so a little update... I got my kit in, thankfully I have a matching set of PowerSlot Rotors (front and back) it's not mismatched like my friends WRX... Installation was a breeze, about 2 1/2 hours including bleeding the lines... It's worth the money, no doubt... Brake pedal feels like a totally different car (keep in mind I had no front pads left lol)... I really would have liked the black coated rotors, but whatever it still looks sharp and stops great... I'll try to have some pictures up by tomorrow...
I just ordered my setup from Nurspec... gotta say customer service is outstanding... thanks Geoff

i have Powerslot's on my Audi. but not the regalur slot from the inside of the rotor to the end. mine look more like the star of david slotted into them... love the stopping power of them but over the years ive noticed that the rotor compared with the pads is what gives you the real stopping power. Ive been in a car with the stoptech stage 2 kit and i felt the stopping power was the same as mine.
From what I read... No... Reason being because the rotor "could damage" the shops equipment (get caught in a slot and break the blade)... And they will usually tell you - No they can't do it...
Is it possible, Yes... But the shop would have to re-gear the lathe to a slow speed and use a brand new bit... If they didn't do this there could be some bad imperfections on the rotor where the blade skips the slot and touches the rotor again... This is why most shops will tell you "No" for slotted and drilled rotors...
If the rotor is ok, then ya... More than likely you may have to get new rotors every brake change (Due to the fact no one wants to resurface them)... You don't want to put a new pad on a messed up rotor...
