Nonsense. Not any better - but not any worse. I have yet to notice a difference between the stock antenna and Honda Element stubby. I live in Upstate NY and have been in lots O' rain, and snow already, and have not noticed one iota of difference between the two.

I bought the one for the Honda CRV since they were out of the S2000 one. It is about 1/2 inch shorter and looks sweet. Was only a few bucks more to.

quick question, i went to the honda dealer and looked at one, and it seemed to me that the bottom of the anttena was a little bigger. does this look ok on the car, or does the sides of the antena kinda stick out. Also, if i were to go to honda, and ask for the s2000 anttena , it would just screw in perfectly? sorry for the question, the guy wouldnt let me try it on the car, it was in its plastic so i couldnt take it out.

i read somewhere on the boards that you can put some thread lock goop stuff on it and screw it down. when you want to take it off wrap it w/ cloth and take a set of plyers and twist it off.

if some one does take it, it can easily be replaced.

sry but no pics of it. the lines of the antenna go perfectly with the base on the tc. it looks very clean. just buy it, you won't be dissapointed. and yes it should screw in just fine.
