no it doesnt, your just not good at it. Its an easy clutch to use if you just pay atention to what the car is doing.
if the car starts going foward as u release the clutch... OH HOLY CRAP U FOUND THE DISENGAGE POINT!! Over time your foot will remember that exact spot.
If your cruiseing along, u slowly press that clutch down, and all of a sudden the car stops being powerd by the engine... HOLY CRAP YOU FOUND THE ENGAGE POINT!! As already said your foot will remember that exact spot.
There is nothing tricky about it so stop your whineing.
instead how bout being happy at how smooth and easy it is to drive the tC.

can someone please let me know which clutch you are talking about - i have knee problems and would actually like to know (hehe ...its true).

Toyota does the drive by wire thing because with cables they wear out in the long
run, which will affect the cars performance. I'm not saying cable driven cars are bad,
Toyota just wanted to make a car that would require less maintenance.
