Default Thoughts on purchasing a 2009 Scion tC

So i have been looking at this car for some time now. It is a 2009 Scion tC 2D Hatchback, Auto Trans, with 72K mileage. The used car lot Im looking at is asking $7000 for it.
I took it to a buddy of mines work at Chevy Dealership in town called Sandy Sansings and he looked it over for me as a favor to my friend. He stated that the rotors needed to be changed, the tensioner needed to be I guess adjusted, and he said he thinks I could be seeing some leakage from the water pump in the future cause he saw moisture down there. The last thing was he said the engine mounts might go out in the future. Now he is the head mechanic there so he said he was like nitpickin for me and really the only thing he would do right now is the rotors and tensioner but be prepared for the other things I stated above.
I do have a link with pictures of the vehicle from the used car dealer Im looking at if anyone would like it.
What do you guys think about the price? The mileage is what originally caught my eye at this used car lot plus the Scion itself being there.
I do not plan on spending 7g on it at all, I am planning on aiming for 5-6g at most. Thanks for your time!
If anyone would like to link I can reply soon.

2007, 2008 and 2009 models have the oil consumption issue. If the stock pistons were replaced, disregard the following. If the pistons have not been replaced, consumption could be a problem now or down the road. Some consumption issues are severe, ie a quart every ~1000 miles. Others, (like mine) are not severe and consume less than a quart per oil change. Your particular condition might depend on how well the original owner serviced the car (plus your own commitment to recommended change intervals.)

Auto trans - Might want to check the ATF level and condition.

At 72k miles, the rotors should be ok.
Front rotor minimum thickness - 23mm (0.906 in.)
Rear rotor minimum thickness - 7.5mm (0.295 in.)

If by "tensioner" you mean the serpentine-belt tensioner, it's self-adjusting. That said, it can go bad and replacement requires raising the engine a couple of inches so that the long mounting-bolt clears the fender well.

$7000 sounds like a decent price. Might want to check whether it's had any collision repairs. Good luck with the purchase.
