Ticking Sound??

the ticking that tCGUY is experiencing is the Vacuum Switching Valve as previously stated.. (READ THE ENTIRE THREAD...) if you open up the hood, you can even hear it coming from that valve (a little gray box looking thing that's close to the MAF)...

it's controlled by the ECU to control warm curb idle. good enough explanation?

thank you now i dont have to go to the dealership. Should it shutoff overtime when the engine is underload. I can see it not shuting off at idle because the cai will not let it fully go up to the warmup temp. Maybe?
