OK i have an automatic and when i got my cai i reved alot and now it seems when im stoped and i hit the gas i have like no torque rpms are going up but it just seems like my 1st gear is missing alot of power now. Is it just all in my head? its only 1st gear!

the automatics first gear is a dog, it was never fast, when you got the CAI installed you thought it was faster since it sounded faster, but now since you are used to the sound it doesnt seem to be as fast since the sound isnt a factor anymore.

CAI are cool...but I think u failed to look at the torque curve correctly because it does mess with it. A CAI will decrease low end torque (which u are feeling) and incrase high end torque, ur torque curve just got shifted. This is perfectly normal.
