Default Transmission whine?

I picked up my tc last friday finaly I have about 600 miles on it already and I have noticed a whine noise from all of the gears. Is this something normal with break in or do all the transmissions do that. The best i can describe it is almost like a dog-whine transmission. Any help would be great.

no he means the transmission whine, if you put it in first and lightly hold the throttle at like 2k rpms it sounds like your making the same noise as going in reverse really fast, its just a noisy transmission, I took my tC back and drove the demo model just to make sure lol.

I don't think you got what he meant, he said all the gears and I would guarantee he was talking about the intake.

This has been talked about before...but i will admit sometimes the search button takes awhile to find things..but if you look hard enough it will come up. Anyways the whining noise while shifting...I think that sound rocks! i love that sound.

Thanks guys, i feel relieved that is normal. But it makes a whining noise in every gear while my foot is on the gas. I am sure it is normal, but like i said before.. it sounds like a dog-whine trans.. like the ones they use in f-1 style cars

yeah before these guys decided to just go ahead and say its your airbox, the tranny does make a high pitch whining noise and you can hear it like on a road with trees surrounding you. The airbox whistles, whistles and whines is two different types of sounds.. mechanical metal on metal type whine, or air induced type whistle noise. which one?

Default DmxSoulja- trans whine

Thanks for replying. It sounds like synchros whining, do you know what I am talking about. The airbox whistle is much more distinctive and will come and go with throttle control. This sounds like i am going in reverse.. just not as loud and a little more high pitched, and in every gear. I doubt anything is wrong with it, i can see it being a noisy gear box. Any input would be great thanks much.

It kind of sounds like I'm driving an electric golf cart when I'm in second gear
