Believe it or not company's do lose money on products sometimes but they are not asking the consumer to cover their losses. How about next time a company like TRD loses money on a product they ask the people that did buy for another $500 later on as they did not sell enough of the product as they expected and want to cover costs. I don't see that going over to well!

BTW THANKS TC-GUY! You are the one whose topic I read that made me go do my own looking!
When I read peoples comments and "facts" on here, I use that as a starting point, and then go find out the facts for myself. Just because somebody is a member here does not make them an expert.
For instance, I hear a lot of people asking what offset they should use for their wheels, and then people reply saying that you can stuff in this or that without rubbing. It doesnt matter what you "can" fit. You should use an offset that is as close to stock as possible, or you will adversly affect the handling of your car. Sorry to digress thats been bugging me.

Understand what I wrote about business in general and then comment.

You are indeed correct about business in general and I definitely do not expect TRD to do anything about it, but I still feel at a loss.
That's not what racetested said at all. You are missing the point. He and tc-guy are exactly right. It is awesome that TRD dropped the prices when they realized they could.

Tell them to go to the Scion website. it's right there: http://www.scion.com/#tCAccessories_...RDSuperCharger
random sort of on topic but not really question...
says when operating a SC vehicle one should use premium gas. Does this also apply to the turbo? For both about the same price if I dont need to spend an extra $50 at the pump each time I fill up I'd defiantly opt for the turbo... just one of those side costs everyone should think about.
