anyone who's done some custom exhaust work has these parts and willing to sell them, PM me. i mostly need the second O2 sensor but i could also use an s-pipe.
i did get a quote from my local scion dealer. waiting to see what mcgeorge will charge, too.
thanx.

that's exactly right. the bolt for the o2 sensor was so frozen that i actually broke one of the "jaws" of the crescent wrench. i would have preferred to get a box end around it but the o2 connector is too big.
on the megan racing thread, i got two things to try -- both working on the premise that toyota put some sort of sealant on the threads and that's what is gummed up. one thing to try (which i did try while the s-pipe was on the car but i didn't think to try once it was off the car -- at that point, i already had 1 broken wrench and only 1 spare so i was a little cautious) is to use a rubber mallet with the wrench. rather than apply steady strong force, i should try "knocking" it. that might slowly get it to move.
the other thing to try is wd40. i figured wd40 wouldn't work if applied from the outside, and i was loathe to try and get it inside the s-pipe since there would be no way to protect the sensor. apparently, wd40 can work.
maybe sometime this week i'll have time to try all of this....i hope! replacing the second o2 sensor looks to be about $111 + s/h from mcgeorge, and their price is better than the discounted price from my local scion dealer (which wouldn't have s/h but would have tax).
