What do you dislike about your tC?
yeah the radio cover does get annoying even when i firmly close it. say, does anyones sunroof cover open by itself? i think i opened and close mine to a point where its very sensitive now. i really wish it was a solid cover instead of a retracting vinyl type. and the fact that the rear moonroof doesnt slide open or even lift up makes it totally useless.
Dont get me wrong I like the glass roof on the TC . But I feel that a standard sunroof would have been fine in this car . Just a bigger one than the celica . That way engineers could have put a regular sunshade in it . I leave my sunshade open all the time cuz I have a feelin its gonna wear out REAL fast if used to much . And trust me living in florida its a toss up , 1. Get into a real hot car cuz your sunshade was open , or 2. Close it all the time and let the sun tear up the sunshade .
From what I have heard , most vehicles with sunroofs or in our case glass , engineers usually put reinforcments in the roof structure itself to compinsate for the openings . now how much of this is true I am not sure but I aint about to try it out LOL

other than that I fell in love with this car the first time I saw it (as a ad before the white chicks movie) and since tht day in june 2004 i was searching for my love...and i found it and married it (hahahha...) on aug 8th, 2005.
[quote="silversciontc"]Things that bother me....
- Stains from rain water on my seats (anyone else have this problem?)
Have noticed a few water drops, a friend of mine bought an xb and he said they had the option of buying some protection pkg, that did exterior and interior, i wasnt given that opt.
dislikes...
factory lips/ground effects too expensive, i want the front and sides, not so much the rear but dont want to pay 800+
lug pattern... or if they made a base model tc with hubcap wheels so i could sell my stock wheels more easily, so i can get some bling!
seat belt warning..
and like everyone else more power, this motor is capable of alot more, seems like it has alot of restrictions from the factory

I know you ALL HATE THIS...
You know the back end cover that covers the cargo for the trunk? You know how its split in half with the left side being about twice the right side? I hate how the left side has slack and the right side is pulled tight. Its like some stupid interior designer didn't measure the lengths right. Its seems to be exactly 1 inch extra material on the left and this causes that goofy slack.

I wouldn't mind a rear windshield wiper for the hatch and it seems to be a little high stock (I've already gotten that taken care of with some S. Tehcs) but other than that I'm very happy about the car

This is absolutely my #1 complaint.
- The response from the throttle is so SLOW.
- The water dropping in when you open the rear hatch.
- The passenger seat deffinitely needs memory.
- VOLUME **** PLEASE! It's loud in here and my cell is ringing/vib.
... but if anyone asks me what I think of my new car... I LOVE IT!!! Good job Toyota
the cubbyhole isn't really that bad...you can either yank it out from the back or just replace it with something else...just ordered my uv bulb today and hopefully will have it by the weekend to try it on.
and as for the rims...the stock ones have these clear some what plastic coating on it and it scratches easily and ruins the look...i was stupid to be on the phone and try to parallel park and i scratched it...trust me...it hurts. learned it the hard way.

Brakes are too soft for me. After a TSi AWD and a SRT4, these brakes don't feel like they're big enough, but I could just be spoiled.
The stock shift **** is really cheap. Fixed that quick with a TRD one.
Number one complaint, it's waaaaaaaaaaaaay too top-heavy. Feels like I'm driving an Exlporer or something. Felt one with a TRD suspension, and it all but fixed that. Next mod is the suspension, just so I don't get sea sick in my car anymore.

i wish toyota put more money into the car. so this car would be like a mid 20G car. ppl would still buy it and more ppl would be satisfied.
improve the handling, the weight, the engine, the VOLUME CONTROL, the overall finish on the body, interior dba noise level.

tomorow is 2 weeks for me and i love this car!
Silver stays clean clean too.
If I had to wine it'd be: no trunk pop and the stock stereo volume controls (someone mentioned this in th thread earlier) I like a **** I can spin quick

yep i have this problem also havent figured out why yet.
also long trips at 85 mph plus would be a lot nicer with 6th gear, and an adjustment for the top of the seatbelt to go lower
