So you are worried about a fuel cutoff if you boost damaging your engine? The fuel cutoff that keeps you from over revving your engine?

there has always been a fuel cut in the tC, and almost every other N/A car produced today. ignition cuts are more common in boosted rigs, and in bikes. it is an injector cut off. the fuel pump still works, but the injectors stop spraying.
my 05 tC had one of those ( fuel cutoff), you just dont know what you are feeling or experiencing.
or, maybe my 05 was the only one with a fuel cutoff, like yours was the only one with an LSD.

yeah your right they all might have a fuel cut off cause its only so much before it doesn't pump anymore. but what i'm trying to say here is that the others didn't feel like this one. so if its not a fuel cut off thats diff then it must be something else. my guess is the fuel cut off.

well all i know is that this one acts diff and my guess is a fuel cut off and untill i figure it out thats what i'm going to keep imposing. something in this one is diff on higher rpms cause it cuts off power as if it where to have a fuel cut off. and thats something that i keep repeating that my 05 scion tc didn't have.

what i'm sauying is i don't know what it is, it feels like a fuel cut off. i have driven over a thousand cars and have owned over twenty and have never had a car die out at high rpms yes i know if you shift earlier it wouldn't do that i awknoledge that. i only had this happen to me twice and thats it.

look, junior. i put 34K on my 05, and i drive the hell out of 07's every day of my life. hundreds of them. and 06's inbetween those. hundreds. thousands of tC's have been uder my control.

and i am telling you, plain and simple, as a voice of reason, and someone with more experience driving tC's than most people, stop. you are wrong. there is nothing you can do, nothing that needs done, it is a dead horse so really, can we stop beating the **** out of it and move on?

The likelyhood of finding how the limiter acts is going to be rare and even more rare to find a "solution" to how change how it works. It's there, and you'll have to deal w/ it. Does it matter how the limiter works? If youre driving the car properly, you shouldnt be encoutering the limiter anyway.

I know, I don't make any sense. Just having a little fun. And you shouldn't listen to Engifineer, mattvs, MrScion07, Paul 34, CuRiOuSfIsH, inevitablegod or any of those guys. They don't make any sense either.
