Ok, so I have been getting a soft pedal feel for a little while and had a chance to look at it today. Didnt see any leaks but I figured it wouldnt hurt to bleed the brakes while I was down there. It didnt help and now Im not sure what it could be. the brakes are fine until the car is on and depress the pedal, then it sounds like theres an air leak on the passenger side of the engine bay. Not sure what it is but as far as I can tell theres not leaks.

 

When was the last time your fluid was changed/flushed? And are you sure you got them bled properly? If you have a soft pedal it is almost always a bleeding issue.

But it is also possible that you have a leak somewhere - possibly the reservoir cap?

 

the fluid has never been changed and im pretty sure they were bled properly, didnt see and bubbles coming out.

 

It's possible your fluid is going bad... is it still clear or very light brown?

 

its pretty clear with a slight tint

 

if your fluid is clean and you are bled properly, then seems like your master is going bad

 

thats what I was thinking...guess its a trip to the shop tomorrow to get it fixed
