NOT A REAL DRIVER THEN
I own a set of HP+ and they own. I sacrifice squeeling and brake dust for ultimate braking power! I feel more confidence driving with HP+ and I will not settle for less. Only thing is now my tires are the weak point again with Falken Ziex 512. I can get the tires to lock up even before the ABS has time to react, cant imagine how will these brakes would do with R compound tires. Next upgrade will definitly be SS lines w/motul fluid.
Can't believe no one has said it yet?! While you are there and have the wheels and pads off, get some cross-drilled or slotted rotors too. I do not care what kind of pads you have, they all lose stopping ability when they get to a certain temp. they begin to melt. Plus the rotors look pretty cool through your wheels too. TRD pads are good but not the best. Axxis or HP will do just fine. If you do not get new rotors, at least have your Stock solid rotors resurfaced before puting it all back together. It is kind of hard for the new pads to mate to the glazed rotor. Thus you will have squealing problems. And have someone do it right ofr you too. When you get your rotors back the surface should be smooth and not ridged with lines in them. This will cause chattering or dragging.
has anyone tried EBC? they make the "Green Stuff" , "Yellow Stuff" pads.
"Although a full race material and capable of high temperature use with very good wear life, this new formulation sets a new trend in race type brake pad compounds. The “bite” from cold is superb which is uncommon with race materials (normally requiring warm-up) and makes this a pad which can be safely used on the highway as well as on the race track. This new formulation was used by numerous championship race and rally drivers in 2004 and is truly a milestone in brake pad material development.
Nominal friction coefficient 0.6 with zero rotor damage and similar dust to original pads.

Quick question guys, I've been informed that putting the axxis ultimates (ceramic pads) on slotted rotors is not recommended as they are too rough on the slotted rotors surface.
Also, are there axxis ultimates for the rear? if not, can someone maybe give a recommendation for the rear?
