Default C Pillar Bars with Curtain Air Bags?

Do any C-pillar bars on the market work with tCs that have the side curtain air bags? I am getting more into performance driving and would like to get rid of some additional flex in my car by adding some bars in the rear of my car, but I have the curtain bags in it. Anyone have any suggestions or experiences that may help?

I'm not sure where exactly the c-pillar bar mounts, but if you remove your c-pillar cover, you'll be able to see the airbag and judge from there. I don't see why they wouldn't work though.

^ like above said tony you should take of the c-pillar and see where the air bag is to see if it would work or contact mike for the specs via pm in scikotics...

the c-pillar brace mounts behind the rear seat belt mounting points on the c-pillar

In doing some research, I am a little apprehensive about pulling off the C pillar just to take a look since it sounds like there is a "one time use" fastener that holds it on. I want to make sure that I can replace just that fastener and not have to replace the whole panel. I'll probably call my parts guy tonight and see if I can get just the fastener.

All SRS Curtain airbags have the "one-time" use clip. I removed my headliner and pillars do wrap them in suede and they popped back on. Just don't destroy them when you remove the pillar.

Yea, I just went ahead and ordered a couple of parts through the dealership just in case. They are only a couple of bucks apiece.
