Coilover Suggestions
Ok so im getting tired of my TRD struts/springs acting weird and needed to be replaced. I drive the car really hard during autocrossing season and I think my struts/springs are soon to be done for, I dont like the way they ride/react so I want some awesome Coilovers that can definetly handle extrmely well in autocrossing/track events. I dont really care about my ride too much even though my car is a daily I just want something I know i can trust and wont crap on me later on down the road.
I Heard JIC's are good but realllllly dont wanna spend 2k on some coilovers. I was thinking in terms of H&R Tein's or TRD price range.
Any Suggestions ? Basically something that will be awesome and can take abuse ?
Thanks

I just got the tein ssp installed in my car yesterday, the ride is good so far. The damping is set on the max! LOL I don't have time to tinker with it right about now, its also on the drive height that tein set it at which is at about 1.7" give or take (almost 2 finger gap). I say that because it almost stayed the same height after i swapped out my Hotchkis spring drop on oem shocks.
At the current height, the sway bar is hitting the tie rod, DOH. I gotta raise the car up a few. DEZOD I need your front endlink!
All in all after a round trip to Philly today, the ride is good. But like I said I have to adjust the damping, lowering it a good amount. I notice I can loose traction when turning and hitting a small bump. It wasn't like that before.
Haven't tried to take it to the max yet, still learning the characteristics of the coilovers.
You're in Laurel, chance you gonna be in the baltimore area? i can take you for a ride.
I also got my SSP from JSC Speed, their price is AWESOME, and apparently they paid for Saturday shipping which surprised me.
