Thanks, good to know. I recently through on some axxis XBG semi-metallic pads on the front, so thats out, but i've been looking for rear pads other than axxis deluxe. I'll have to look into the dezods, even though they are a bit more expensive

i can't if my life depending on it get the top bolt of the front caliper off. there is absolutely no way that thing is moving. I managed to move one and I broke the bolt. Any tips as I got a set of new bolts but no can do. any ideas what I can do about it. This sucks.

The caliper bolt is the easy one. its the back bolts (17mm) that are the real pain in the butt. The 14mm are only torqued to 25 lbs. Are you sure you are and were turning it the correct way rather than tightening it??? I've heard of the bolt breaking when it was tightened to 50lbs.

To get the large 17mm bolts off of the rear to remove the rotors, I used my impact wrench for one and that came right off. I couldnt get it in there for the other bolt, so I used some extensions and combinations of other tools to eventually get it off

I was CERTAIN that we were turning ot the correct way. I broke the first one as it snapped in half. And on the other side, the same thing, the stupid thing won't even budge. Horrible. This happened to my friends tC and my tC the same day as we were doing them together. The rear brakes were EASY... any idea on help? This sucks...
