i really want hotchkis springs buut......
well it's personal preference... I would say if you live in an area that you think you're going to scrap a lot...then dont do it. I wouldnt do a whole lot of body mods if you do a drop as low as Hotchkis is.... or lower... otherwise you'll be P.O.'d everytime the couple grand you spent on it and paint.... when you scrap it all up in every day driving.
Thats just my opinion.

I've had my Hotchkis for a while and I dont have to much trouble getting around without scraping. entrances to lots, drives, etc...and speedbumps... most can be done without scraping...you just have to drive being more aware than you did/do on your TRD's. There are some drives, etc that are to steep for me to get into without scraping...but thats pretty rare.
No....those look like the original ones... because they are painted silver in color. I believe the newer sets are painted white if Im not mistaken... btw...I have had a set of the original silver hotchkis ones on my tC's for a lot of miles/time and I've personally never had any issues with them thus far.
^^ Atc it has nothing to do with the quality of them.... I think its mainly the climate where some people live... especially on the coasts....or where they use salt on the roads in the winters that causes them to corrode faster. before you put them on the car...have them dipped in a flexible coating. that should help.
