You can take a look at this:
It shows how it works with the TRD strut bar.

I just put mine on last night!!! It is a big difference in feeling, however i had not had the chance to really wring its neck, cuz we had about 10 inches of snow total here in the noth east. BUT, i also have the DC sports strut bar. It fits with a ton of extra room and I even put 3 layers of dynamat under. There should be NO PROBLEM with fitment

agreed 100%, mine fit with plenty of extra thread on the bolts.

Here they are. You can easily see that the studs come ALL the way through the damper bracket and dc sports strut tie bracket, with room to spare (covered in blue loctite). Thank you to xnevergiveinx for showing the importance of getting the A/C line outta the way, and Kaeon for the write up. I fixed the A/C line by moving the bracket that holds the line, like xnevergiveinx (page 4), not the zip tie way. I absolutely love this thing. Just to see how noisy it really was, i put my GF in the car and drove around without telling her about it and she didn't even notice a difference. Radio on low enough to hear each other talk. I used 3 layers of dynamat too, and it still fits.

OH yeah, and all these pics are taken with my cell phone.

Sorry couldn't tell ya, i installed mine with the dynamat the first time. Well actually i used "accumat". Walmart had it for 8 dollars on the clearance rack. I got three packs for 24 bucks. Thats 6 sq ft. That much dynamat would cost upwards of 70 bucks. This stuff is just as good as dynamat IMO. You can find cheaper stuff around if you look hard enough. Install now and test it without the dynamat, u can always disconnect the damper leaving the brackets in place, if you don't like it. I hear a lot of people saying it is super loud for about a week or two and then it settles in place and the noises decrease tremendously.

I have heard of people using "peel and place" or something like that, i don't know the real name. But you can get it at home depot in the roofing section. It might be ok to use now in the colder conditions, it will work the same and is only a couple dollars for a 20 foot roll. However in the summer temps, it will melt, because it is basically just roofing tar stuck to a piece of paper. IMO just splurge and get the real stuff if you can't stand the noise w/o it.
