bleh im done with these they've given me more trouble than they're worth. everytime i think i put them on right, something else happens or i get a new noise coming from the rear end. yes they were installed while the car was on ramps.

next time include some instructions or something, like which side of the frame to bolt them on, which side the washers go on, etc. and include all the hardware. some of us are pretty ____ed to spend $70 bucks on endlinks just to have to run out to home depot to spend more $ on gas and washers.

i'm not bashing your products, i'm blown away by your turbo kits, but some of the extensive research you guys put in should be printed out on instructions or some sort of guidance. because apparently it doesnt matter if you adjust them to be as short as possible (what i did) or longer than the oem's (like sensei did), they still break.

i'll be putting my stockies back on with my H&R bar this weekend, i'm sure those will suit just fine.

I'm sort of in the same boat. Just thinking they're more trouble than they're worth. After reinstalling the stockies, I did notice the noise level subside.

Installed the stockies, and just calling it a day. I'll keep a bent dezod in the car in case the stock shatter at an autocross, so I'll have something to limp home on until I secure a replacement.

Wonder if the Progress endlinks are having these issues?

But let's be fair. Dezod does a bunch for these cars. The fact that they're trying is a definite plus. Besides, perhaps it wasn't their shop that came up with these links.

Granted, I'm just one user with one bad experience. Perhaps others have had better luck.

These mount in the exact same spots as stock, and it your bending something like this that has harder materials than stock, then obviously there is an issue with install and/or other items.

Each of you 2 please PM me. Thanks!

hey Paul I was reading the manual and it mentions that the endlinks have a soft setting and a race setting... So how do I set the endlinks to the race setting? Fully compressed or extended all the way? Or do I just try and make the swaybar parallel to the ground?

Just attempt to line the center to center distance up properly on the endlink to the mounting holes used on the sway.

I looked under the car today, and mine are bent just like that. I looked at the instruction manual and I'm pretty sure I installed them correctly with full load on the suspension and all ...The thing is, I don't have a set of stock endlinks to go back to, those are broken

If you had bent the endlinks, this means one of a few things. Load was induced during installation AND/OR you had jarred some decent pothole on a VERY aggressive setting coupled with a poor install.

My wife has had our V1 endlinks, the weaker edition, on her car for 8 months, driving through snow, commuting 40 miles each way to and from work, plus a full 5 hour each way trip to MI, and Lord knows she can not dodge a pothole for her life, has not had 1 bent endlink. They even survived the 6 months of snow, winter, ice and salt!!!!

Hmm, installed 'em a few weeks ago so I'm not sure where it went wrong. Hope its ok to drive on bent endlinks until I can save up for new ones...

I would advise against driving hard with them bent.

Sorry I'm late to the game, but I thought I'd offer my experiences...

I have one of the first sets of the Dezod rear sway bar endlinks and I'm confused as to why I haven't had the same problems experienced by some of you. I have one of the first H&R rear sway bars offered to the public and drive aggressively on the street and track; the rear endlinks make a difference. I've had professional race car drivers drive my tC at Buttonwillow and Willow Springs and the endlinks performed as advetised... before the V2 redesign and without a manual.

They work. They work VERY well.

I've acquired another pair, and am willing to give them a second shot.

I'll be installing them according to Dezod's instructions, step-by-step, with photo evidence of proper installation. I will then have a look at them once/twice a week, including after an autocross this weekend.

I don't think I'll have a bending issue this time, since I plan on installing them at the minimum height possible, regardless of how the sway bar ends up. This effectively factors out the weakest part of the unit, the interior bolt.
