Default Noisy creaky springs - FIX!

I found the fix!

If your springs creak like an old wooden boat when you go over speed bumps and driveways grease the top few coils of the springs and the perch/seat. Mine have been HORIBLE since the day I got them, I finally went out and bought a grease gun and lubed them with marine grade lithium grease at lunch. I'm golden now.

The noise is comming from the coils rubbing against each other and the perch or seat.

** I'm on Tein SSP so I only did the tops because the lower adjustable perch doesn't rub the same way. If you are on a spring/strut combo I recomend greasing them at both ends.

I thought the tiens came with those plastic gaurds specifically for that reason?
Or is that just the springs?

Bluemeanie did you ever try moving the insulators from your old H-tech's to the SSP's?

I'm also wondering how long the grease will last before you have to re-lube ... ?

Doesn't Tein come with it's own insulators?? Cause mine did but they were much, much smaller compared to stock.

My H-techs had the insulators but my SSPs did not. I tried to use the H-tech insulators on the SSPs but they were to big and would not stay on. ...I'm sure if you can get insulators that fit your springs tha'd work to. Grease is easy tho and a small tube + gun is only like $10-12.
