But then you gotta pay some1 to install them...unless your gonna do it yourself. Most people would rather pay to get it installed...

is there a respectable on-line store where these parts can be purchased and shipped ?

someplace with a crazy selection of parts, decent pricing, maybe free shipping too ?

well if its for TRD parts, i say TRDsparks, they have amazing prices compared to dealerships and depending on size of the item usually takes about 3-5 buisness days(about a week or so). thats where i got all my trd suspension at.

-yeah install is a pain, so about $600 i guess.

thanks alot. i'll check then out.

i'm looking to buy my first TC and the first thing that is apparent is how overpriced all the OEM upgrades are.

I found www.fastscion.com to be a nice place to spend some time looking through.

hmm interesting. makes sense though! I'll def keep this in mind cause I need to swap out my OEM ones for the TRD's sometime in the future.

Well I installed the trd springs on my car about a month ago and I'm putting the trd shocks and struts on today. For one they will last a lot longer because when you have lower springs on stock shocks it keeps them compressed and they'lll only last you about a year before they're shot.

-just got my suspension setup installed yesterday-

-trd springs
-trd shocks
-trd strut bar
-hotchkis F/R sway bars

-the stance looks good in the back, but the front is hardly noticeable. i had about like a 3-4 finger gap in the back and i think 3 in the front(i don't think i really checked the front before the drop) and not the back has a nice snug 2 finger gap and the front still seems like a 3 finger gap....hmmm for now im happy with it, can't wait till it is settled.

-im hoping i didn't make the wrong decision and might wanna go lower....

Not trying to say anyone is wrong, but from what I have learned in off roading is the vehicle sits on the springs, that determines the height, the shock serve the purpose to keep the wheel on the ground when going over bumps. I have not personally compared the stock to TRD, the TRDs are more stiff compared to the stocks, improving handling in that seance, but rougher ride. You can also find shocks at an auto parts store for cheaper than TRD. Not trying to offend anyone or start anything just my .02.

Installed trd springs on oem shocks at about 25K.

Currently have 67K. Shocks have not completely blown, but the ride is poorer.

you ever drive the car hard or take a lot of turns or what not during that time phase? im almost at 20K and want to install TRD springs but some people say that your shocks will or will not blow soon or later.

yeah i say depending on how u drive (normal vs aggressive) will probably give you an answer on if your shocks will last longer or shorter for their lifespan.
