So what is Damping??? how does it work????

Default So what is Damping??? how does it work????

ok so this is going to sound dumb but I got a question... what is Damping?? does somthing like the EDFC actualy controll the hight of the ride or just the tensionI was looking at tien coilovers for my car but wasn't sure if it was worth it...? any help would help! thanks!

Dampening is how soft/hard the shocks are. The EDFC only adjusts dampening. In order to adjust ride height you have to take the wheels off and adjust the spring tension. If I were you I would go with the tein basic coilovers. I picked them up for around 800 from creative compacts. Install was complicated because it was my first time doing suspension work. The ride is alot stiffer and my car is slammed.
