Default Spring rate question

I have B&G RS2 coilovers, stock they came with 6kg front and 8kg rear. These were way too soft so I changed the springs to 9 & 11. Even with the strut damping maxed out it seems ok. I am thinking of either going with 11kg front amd 14kg rear or 15kg rear, need useful opinions.

Are you doing that for racing or to keep your wheels from rubbing? Changing spring rates on b&g is a waste of time because of how short tc rear shocks are. No matter how stiff you go rear will always be bouncy. Also because shocks are valved for their spring rates, you can only go -+2kg/mm. I had b&g 10kg/mm on full stiff and it didnt make any difference but got me 1/2 lower which is what I wanted anyways. If you want high spring rate coilovers, you will have to custom order them with properly valve shocks. Right now I have Stance GR+ with Swift 12/14kg/mm. Pretty stiff for daily but I love it.

Both, need stiffer rear springs and tired of rubbing.

Unfortunately B&G cannot re-valve your shocks for stiffer springs, so if I were you, i'd sell B&Gs and put the money you going to spend on new set of custom springs towards new set of coilsovers. Get either BC or Stance with custom spring rates. It shouldnt cost you anything over their standard sets, unless you want to upgrade to Swift springs. Both of those coilovers cost about the same and also come with camber plates. For Stance, make sure to get shorter springs (175mm front,150mm rear) standard springs are 200 and 175mm, so you have an option to go lower. For BC, I cant realy tell you, I think Spoony had a 'extreme low' set 12/14kg/mm springs and it didnt go low enough.

Thank you! I will start doing my research then. I got the B&G originally bc it has independent adjust for spring preload and ride height.
