Default tire squeal?

Hi guys, i got my 05 tC a few days ago.. and im pretty much loving it. I think i have this issue with the passenger side cv joint, it "rattles" quiet a bit on bumps and less on the road. But the one thing i cannot pin point is when making tight turns (turning into a parking space or doing a U) The driver side tire* Squeals like if im driving like a maniac. Some insight would be appreciated thank you.

Tire squealing is probably an alignment issue. Have your alignment check out. The angle of the tire may be causing it to drag when you make sharp turns. Coincidentally, if something is going on with one of your axles that could be why the alignment is off.

Also couldn't hurt to check your tire pressure either.

^i concur. get your CV boots checked out, and bolts tightened everywhere - especially your steering and suspension components.

And while you're at it, might as well check out your wheel bearings, too.

Alright, I decided to check out the cv joint to see if it was a torn boot but i did not see or feel them torn, and there is no leaking grease. The cv axle does have some play if I pull it in and out (metal clacking noise). If im not mistaken, that would be a bad cv joint right? it does Not make a noise when turning, just on bumps and when car vibrates due to road. its a pretty noticable sound. at least inside the car from what ive heard.

So I took the car to the mechanics and had it lifted to check it out.... Everything looks fine besides the driverside tire, it needs the alignment which should fix the tire squeal. all the bushings seem fine, again no grease or torn boots... The mechanic thinks its the Strut that is bad/going bad. No autoparts store carrys the struts for the Tc though.. wondering what options i have.

could always upgrade to an aftermarket shock or trd shock. Any auto parts store should be able to order the stock for you though.
