TRDsprings-warranty only if dealer installed?
I FINALLY got my 06 Nautical Blue tC. Im planning on getting the TRD springs mainly cuz there the only springs with a warranty...but im reading this warranty thing at TRDSparks.com that says the warranty is valid only if the springs are dealer installed..
"Additionally, TRD offers a limited lifetime warranty feature on dealer-installed shocks and struts that becomes effective from the date the Toyota Comprehensive Warranty expires and extends for as long as the original purchasing customer owns the vehicle. The limited lifetime extension covers replacement parts only (no labor) and requires the submission of a copy of the dealer repair order as original purchase verification. This warranty claim must be submitted directly to TRD."
Is this true? Do i actually have 2 get them from the dealer 2 get the warranty? o well I LUV MY CAR!!!

no. *all* TRD parts, regardless of where they were installed, have a 12/12,000 warranty on them.
Some dealers are more cool about stuff than others.
If you are having a problem with the springs, it will depends on the dealer as to wehter or not they warranty them beyond 12/12000. My dealership said they would roll them into the extended warranty for me, even though I bought them from Sparks, and installed them myself. Your dealer may be different.
