Default Upgraded brake caliper retrofit?

Hi all, I just boosted and I’m looking to see if there’s any common retrofits to get better brakes on a low budget. Thanks!

I don't know from personal experience but I've heard a big brake kit won't stop you as well as wider tires will. Big brakes might give you more staying power than OEM.

Akebono brake pads are supposed to be better than oem. Again, can't say from personal experience.

Im already running 225s front and rear, I can only go so much wider without running into clearance issues, and that would also involve getting wider wheels than what I have, so it doesn’t make sense. I plan on getting track tires to help also but was just curious if there was any cheap retrofit to get bigger diameter rotors and calipers.

Big brake kits aren't cheap for a reason and a cheap big brake kit wouldn't be something I'd consider putting on my car. You spent the time and money to boost it, so now it's time to do the same thing to be able to stop it.

Im not looking for a “cheap big brake kit” and I’m aware they’re not cheap for a reason. I’m looking a retrofit from another car I can get done for cheaper, like how I’ve seen some mazdas use subaru brakes and how s chassis people upgrade to 300zx brakes.
