Default Weird clunk noise. HELP

Hey guys. ive been riding on tein basics coilovers for several months and havent had any crazy ___ problems with them.

But for the past few days, ive been hearing this clunking noise. I went over to my friends house prior and thought it was the junk he gave me. I took out all the stuff and i still hear the damn clunking noise. It sounds like the coilover set is loose on top and everytime i go over a bump it hits the top.

It doesnt appear to be 'bottomed out' due to the fact that my friend explained that bottoming out means that your spring is compressed and is locked.

I dont know whats going on! this noise is driving me crazy!!

I believe that might be, and I'm not too sure, but you might have blown your shocks?

blown my shocks? nah..i dont think so. i dont see any oil leaks or anything like that. And plus they still ride like how i got them brand new.

How can the upper mounts be loose? theres 3 nuts on top and i believed i screwed them on tight as a virgin!

i fixed it today. i found out that the top mount screw got lose and basically made the whole damn coilset loose.

Pretty relieved.
