If this is the look that you are going for and since you are on TRD spring you will be fine!
I ordered my 18x8" rims a few days ago from wheelstudio.com. They didn't ask me for a specific offset, but they did ask the make and model of my car. I'm hoping I get an offset that doesn't rub. I didn't think about it at the time.
I have 18x8 Hp Evo's w/ 225/40R/18 & S-Techs.
Offset is 38!
And I'm rubbin!!!!!
I dont how people can have same offset and 19's and still not rub with S-Techs! Ill prob end up selling mine! And get some 18's w/ diff offset!

I have been reading though this post and I'm still not understanding this offset stuff...so lets turn the question around...
I plan on getting 18x8 45mm offset rims...I'm currently at stock ride height...with coilovers how low can i go without rubbing?

The problem with rubbng or no rubbing has nothing to do with how low you are dropped(to a point).
It has everything to do with your offset, and the tire you decide to go with. The rim size has nothing to do with it, because the outside diameter is what you have to pay attention to.
45 offset is the stock offset, so if you get any rim in that offset up to around 8"s wide, it should fit with the propper tire on there.
Use this calculator to determine what tire you need, the stock size tire is 215/45/17, find a tire that is the SAME or CLOSE diameter to the stock size

I like this calculator because it gives you a visual.
Hope this helped
