Default I think I figured it out???

So ive been doing tons of research here so i wouldnt have to bother any of you guys with the same question everyone always asks but i just wanted to see if I made the right choice, I bought a set of 18x8 et35 wheels and i have my Tc dropped on H-techs, does anybody know if i will rub at all if i buy 225/40/18 tires??? can i go wider without rubbing? any advice or opinions for a better choice will be greatly appreciated thanks alot!

you MIGHT rub. but only on like turns or big dips and stuff...
i have the same spec wheels up front 18x8 et35 but i went with a 215 tire.
im maxed out on my tein ssp. which i believe is like a 2.7in drop...
i dont rub at all. i even wanna get spacers and push them out farther

I run 18x8 et38 Advans and Have JIC Coilovers lowered about 2.5'' all around an don't rub unless I hit a hard bump.

its unlikely to rub with the h-techs unless you go higher than 18s, s-techs on the other hand are a different story
