if i switch to 19X8.5 with a 38 offset will that make it more flush. I guess i'm trying to understand offset. Now i'm assuming that the +38mm is heading back into the car not away from? are different spacers needed for the rears to make it flush. I really do appreciate the help. I'm used to keeping my rims stock but i do confess that the TC looks so much better with aftermarket wheels.

oppposite, the lower the offset the further out the wheel is, for example...
18x9 et 16

see how far past the fender it is. your wheel would be about 25-28mm more in then my wheel set up (18x8.5 et 38 vs 18x9 et 16 using approximately 5-8mm to compensate for width.... correct me if im wrong on that)

but my set up is a little more aggressive then what some people would feel comfortable going.... hell sometimes i feel uncomfortable driving lol

also keep in mind i should be using at least a 235/40(35) to 255/35 tire but im on a 215/35 tire for extra clearance...

for your wheels to get where i am you would need about 25mm of spacer (all around) and negative camber too... with a 205/35 tire

(fyi that pic is before my alignment with -.7 degrees of camber... i am now running -1.

Does having the wheels flush really affect your performance?
Bloody hell so you have the wheel size, the tire size, and spacers needing to be flush...
And i just got a ticket on the hwy... Not my day today!
I appreciate the help, alot to think about. Many thanks!

You're going to need to roll fenders and run camber.

Alright, then it'll work. The setup will sit similar to how Rota Grid's fit.

yea that was my mistake. I meant to say +38.....so rolling the fenders 7 adjusting the camber will do the job then? no, no spacer! would you recommend to use them? what would I need them for?

Nevermind, I edited my post. But yes, rolling fenders and adjusting camber will be fine.

How do you think it will do on the bumps for instance on the freeways! since its going to be sticking out a bit!

If you roll the fenders enough and you adjust the camber accordingly, it'll be fine. Your drop might be a little high if your trying to accomplish a hellaflush look.

I'm hopping to get coilovers soon I was just hoping w/the set-up I have right now it wouldn't mess anything up! I was more going with the wheels sticking out of the fenders more & then being able to work w/it more after I get the coilovers! this width will have the wheels sticking out a bit right?
