just because it's free doesn't mean you should put them on your car. sell them and use the money and get wheels that fit a little better than that.

Ro Ja and Dave thanks for the input...I might just do that (Sell them) and find something with a smaller offset

I just have to make sure I dont list them for sale on SL , because I can see it now, 4 pages of "50mm offset?!?! WTF!" and a lot more negative comments.

Thanks though! but in all honestly I do appreciate all the possitive and negative comments.

Thanks Dave once again! is there a sell restriction like on SL on that forum? meaning you have to have certain number of posts before you can sell something?

hi guys I want to get the 5axis X5 wheels for my tC with the stock lip kit but I want to know which should I buy,

the 19x8 x 40 offset

or

19x8x 35 offset?

I have it dropped on tein Htech and I dont care about rubbing at all, I want it as flush as possible. never carry anything heavy in my car.

Im going to get em here: http://www.customcarscentral.com/fxs...sal-scion.html

Thanks.

the et35 will obviously bring you closer to flush but nowhere near perfect flush.

wow thanks for the response! well actually Im about to install the kaminari kit, is already painted but looks ugly on stock wheels

I saw this pic on a FS thread, he has ET40 but he has way more drop than mine with htech. so I going with the et35! gunmetal and I will paint the lip with the same color as my car s. crimson mica

Do you know if the website i posted is reliable?

I've never bought anything from them, I can't say.
Either way, good luck.

Quick question guys,

is +48 offset just as bad as +50 ?

here is where i'm stock..

17x8.5 5x100 with 255/40/17

one set of a certain brand comes with +44 and different brand +48..
for now my car is dropped on TRD springs and also wilwood BBK is installed.

My main concern would be with such a high offset and an 8.5in wide wheel is that it would be pretty much rubbing up against the strut. The +44 should be fine but the +48 sounds a little to high to me.

would my car look too high with the 19s?

I dont want to look like rice with big ride heigh and HUGE wheel gap

I have kaminari bodykit and tein Htech, here is a pic with stock wheel, the rear wheel looks f'ed, it needs like 2 wheel spacers lol

here is a pic

front

distance from ground is 2-3 inches

I vote for 18s instead, I think 19s would look "gangsta" or rice. what you guy say? please help!

to rus_wolf, i would go +44 if thats all thats offered and get spacers to make it sit better

and to groundsweepa it depends on what wheel you get, dont get anything that you think is rice because it probably is, and there is a lot of rear wheel gap with the htechs from what i noticed, i would recomend a better drop or coil overs and get wheels that you like. dont doubt any purchase you make or it will haunt you and you'll end up spending more money in the long run just to make yourself happy.

or just buy these cus they are gangsta, adn get coil overs

https://www.scionlife.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=188627

remember measure twice and cut once.

Im getting the fixe axis X5 wheels, i want to get coilover but im little low on cash right now, its been 1 year with my ugly stock wheels!

But would 19s lift my car exactly 1 inch and reduce my wheel gap by another one? assuming I use a tire that is same as thick as my stock tire.

Because I noticed some people who have kaminari kit and lots of clearance, it looks ugly

no they wheel gap will stay the same lol, the car will just be higher... thats why for the most part if people want the slammed look they go with 17s or 18s or even the crazys with 16s

I dont understand..

If the outer diameter of tire increases, it should lift the car and proportionally reduce wheel gap, given the wheel is a perfect circle, Lets say if my tire outer diameter increases 1.4 inches it will lift the car by 0.7 and reduce wheel gap by another 0.7, right?

wheel gap wont change the suspension is what determines the wheel gap not the wheels.

When I had my wheels it eliminated my wheel gap. And I'm on springs.
